From September 6th to the 9th, Malinda Hassell from Tourism Corporation Bonaire visited Medellin and together with Yasmin Perez, carried out business meetings with important tour operators, to strengthen commercial alliances to promote the island of Bonaire and its hotel programs.
The agenda contemplated a visit to UltraViajes Group, a tour operator with presence in more than six countries in Latin America, with important strategic alliances allowing to connect with niche markets and potential customers. This tour operator through tourism events at luxurious malls in Medellin, has successfully promoted Bonaire among high end consumers. The agenda contemplated as well, a meeting with Aviatur Group now reaching its 60th Anniversary. Aviatur gathers more than 300 travel agencies in all Colombia; Gilberto Rios its regional Sales Manager joined by Malinda Hassell and Yasmin Perez from TCB-Latin America, explored business alliances to develop programs in the bike niche to bring mountain bike lovers to Bonaire; biking is an important sport in Medellin with large bike stores and brands organizing events and competing local and internationally, throughout the year.
